Things to Consider Before You Speak to a Psychic

Tips For Psychic Novices

1.  Before you select a psychic, make sure you read the testimonials or feedback for the psychic.  Most sites provide easy access to unbiased reviews of the psychic from other customers so you can tell if that psychic is good, honest, and the right one for you.  

2.  Determine which kind of psychic you want.  There are different kinds of psychics.  Some rely on divination tools like tarot cards or the pendulum. Some use astrology to addres your issues.  Others rely solely on their clairvoyance and intuition.  Many rely on a combination of these.  I prefer psychics who are truly clairvoyant and receive the guidance on their own. However, some tarot readers have been astoundingly accurate for me.  But generally, I prefer a reader to have inherent psychic abilities outside of the ability to just interpret a tarot card that they pulled.

3.  Have your questions ready beforehand.  You want to maximize your time. Also, take notes!  I love referring back to my notes and predictions after they have come true.  It is also good to compare notes from two different readers.

4.  Don't lead the psychic!!!  Most good psychics don't want to be lead and will tell you not to tell them anything.  Sometimes you can get so excited at what the psychic says that you just start having a conversation and begin to talk more than the psychic does.  (I've done this many times.)  Not only does this waste time, but this can throw the psychic off and make them forget pertinent information that may have been coming to them.  Also, a bad psychic will just rely on you instead of getting true psychic information.  I love a reading that starts with the psychic telling me what she sees before I even speak.  They don't always...many times you will have to start with a question.  But sometimes, you will be lucky enough to get a psychic who is completely tuned into you and just starts without a word from you.  (That will quickly turn any skeptic!)

5.  Speaking of skeptics...be open to the reading.  It doesn't do anybody any good if you are closed and skeptical about the reading.  That can turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy and many good readers may not pick up anything from you because your energy is blocked.  Before your call, take a deep breath, clear your mind, and be in a positive frame of mind.  If you are mad or surrounded by negative energy, this can also block the reading or skew it, so that energy will be all the psychic will focus on.  Psychics generally are extremely sensitive and they can easily pick up on your emotions.  I have had more than one horribly negative or fear-based reading because I was in a crazy anxious mood when I spoke to the psychic.  Conversely, when I am in a good, happy mood, sometimes the channel is open, and I get sooo much good information.  I love those readings.
